SHONA PRESENTS SHINE FESTIVAL

Don’t worry, this isn’t the whole Shine Festival website.

It is currently closed to allow us to add new interviews with even more of Ireland’s most authentic women! Sit tight, and check back soon for our launch!

HEY THERE! Welcome to Shine Festival!!

Shine Festival is an empowering event for the young women and girls of Ireland, featuring many, many speakers on topics such as self-esteem, resilience, career, arts, wellness, health sports, people, planet and social issues.
Live and Digital Stage Line-ups

In 2022 we came back with a BANG! Despite Covid and all the world threw at us – there was even a stage we thought we couldn’t pull it off – we brought Shine Festival back with our first-ever hybrid event. We were joined by 2,000 girls in person and over 15,000 online through our live stream from all over Ireland.

Check out the electric energy of the two days at the highlights below…

This year Shine Festival is coming home to where it all began! On October 11th and 12th in SETU Arena, Carriganore, Waterford, where we’ll be joined by 2,000 Transition Year girls from all over Ireland to celebrate International Day of the Girl.

There are 2 ways you can get involved this year:

1: LIVE EVENT: Schools are invited to attend the live event, hearing from our panel of speakers and performers and a festival site to explore. Tickets are completely sold out. Teachers can register for our cancellation list HERE.

2: ENGAGE ALL YEAR: We are having over 150 conversations with interesting, authentic and inspiring women with something for everyone. Each of these videos has been curated with class discussions and journal prompts as a way of supporting content on your student's curriculum. We thought of everything! We want to reach as many girls as possible with our Shine Online, and this is why you can view all of the content, all year, completely FREE! If you would like to be kept up to date on all things Shine Online, please complete THIS FORM.

If you have any questions on any of the above information, you can email [email protected] or call 086 014 4728 and one of the team will be in touch.
